Lestrigons (ancient Greek Λαιστρυγόνες) are a people of cannibal giants in Greek mythology. Their place of residence in antiquity was the subject of controversy. They were confronted by Odysseus and his companions when their ships sailed to the "high city" of Lamos. One of the satellites sent by Odysseus for reconnaissance was swallowed by the king of the Laestrigons, Antifates. Odysseus and his companions flee. My heroine Lisa finds herself in a magical forest where giants live - the forest people. She is frightened of them and thinks that she has fallen into the kingdom of the Lestrigons. Luckily, the forest giants are not evil cannibal Lestrigons, but forest spirits. They put Lisa and her unicorn into a magical dream to test the intentions of the guests of the forest.
